Vice President Cyber Security, Fincantieri e CEO, E-phors

Daniele Francesco Alì is the CEO of E-phors and the director of cybersecurity at Fincantieri S.p.A. Previously he was the co-director of the IT Department, with responsibility for the Group’s IT Security & Digital Brand Protection, for which he developed the cybersecurity strategy.

Before joining Fincantieri, he worked as Head of the Cybersecurity Standards of Poste Italiane Group.

After graduating in Telecomunications Engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome, he carried out research in the academic field with a specialization in architecture and security of computer systems and networks. He holds a CEFRIEL Master’s Degree in Information Security Management from the Politecnico di Milano and a Master of Science in Information Security from the Royal Holloway University of London.

He holds the main certification of Information Security and Project Management.

Professor and lecturer at LUISS and SIOI, Daniele Alì is part of the IBM Board of Advisors of Cybersecurity and an active member of the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe.

He is the author of several articles and publications for national and internation magazines and newspapers, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, as well as speaker at institutional and dissemination tables in the field of cybersecurity and development of new technologies
